Republic Day 2023: Republic Day has an immense importance across the country. This day is celebrated by all Indian with great pride. This is the day, when constitution of India was adopted by the Constituent Assembly on November 26, 1949 after the independence of India. This year, the whole country is going to celebrate the 74th Republic Day i.e., on January 26, 2023.

1. Keep the Republic Day speech short as children may not be able to learn a lengthy one.
2. Avoid using complex words and sentences.
3. Try to keep it simple so that children would be able to understand it.
4. Practice the speech multiple times.
5. Do not hesitate and be stage friendly.
6. Be confident enough and try to memorize the whole speech.
7. Learn the technique of body language while delivering the speech, it would make the speech more effective.
8. Children can even include patriotic poems in the speech if possible.

Good Morning to all,
Today we have assembled here to celebrate Republic Day of our country. Republic day is celebrated with great grandeur every year on January 26 as we all know that the constitution of India came into effect on this day.
We know that our country got its independence on August 15, 1947 and our constitution came into full power on this auspicious day. Since then, we are celebrating Republic Day with great pride. Republic Day is also known as Ganatantra Diwas.
We should not forget that how we got this freedom and let us remember those freedom fighters, who have sacrificed their precious lives for the people of India. The struggle was not so easy and it was totally based on non violence, cooperation, non discrimination and a lot more.
It is the day, which reminds us the value of constitution. The grand celebration is organized at Rajpath and the display of grand military force on the day of Republic Day Parade make us feel proud.
The Prime Minister of India, honours the martyrs by putting a wreath at the Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate. Awards are presented to the brave soldiers in the form of Paramvir Chakra, Ashok Chakra, and Vir Chakra.
On this great republic day, we all should take an oath to follow the constitution and contribute in the best interest of our nation.
Here, I would end my speech and would like to request to all of you and take out a moment of silence for the great souls, who have lost their lives for the freedom of this proud country.
I want to convey my thanks to the respected principle and my teachers, who have given me this opportunity to express my views in front of you.
