Tamil Nadu Board Exams 2023: Class 12 answer scripts evaluation to begin on April 10

CHENNAI: The evaluation of Class XII answer scripts will begin on April 10 across the state. The directorate of government examinations will set up more than 70 evaluation camps and involve more than 60,000 teachers to evaluate around 50 lakh answer scripts.
Class XII exams will be over on April 3. However, due to the ongoing Class XI exams, the evaluation of answer scripts starts after a week of Class XII exams.
As per the announcement, the Tamil Nadu state board Class XII exam results will be released on May 5 while the Class X results will be released on May 17.
“The answer scripts of more than eight lakh students will be evaluated in two weeks. We have issued detailed guidelines to be followed in the evaluation camps,” officials from the school education department said.
Guidelines for evaluation of answer scripts have banned the using mobile phones during the evaluation work. “Outsiders should not be allowed to enter the evaluation camps. It also asked them not venture out frequently during the paper evaluation,” guidelines said.
The Class X board exams will be conducted from April 6 to 20. More than 10 lakh students will write the exams at 3,986 centres in the state.
