Bhubaneswar: The National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Hyderabad has signed a memorandum of understanding with the ASBM University Bhubaneswar to launch an MBA programme in MSME Management. This unique programme will be offered from the academic session 2023-24.
University sources said the MSME sector is growing and will play a prominent role in the development of the economy in the coming days. There will be a requirement of trained management personnel to run these organisations. This new MBA programme has been specially designed to meet that need. It also intends to promote entrepreneurship among the youth and create entrepreneurs, said the official sources.
The students will study their first-year courses (two semesters) at ASBM University in Bhubaneswar and the second year (two more semesters) at ni-msme in Hyderabad, an organisation of the ministry of MSME. On successful completion of the programme, the students will be awarded an MBA degree by ASBM University.
