Leverage Technology, Business Models to Make Inclusive & Sustainable India at 2047, says Ram Nath Kovind



Kozhikode: The twelfth Indian Management Conclave (IMC) hosted by Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIMK) and organised by MBA Universe.com concluded at IIMK.
Former President of India, Ram Nath Kovind was the chief guest for the function held on Friday accompanied by former first lady Savita Kovind.
Prof. Debashis Chatterjee, Director IIM Kozhikode and Amit Agnihotri, Convenor, IMC were also in attendance.
The two-day IMC is India’s definitive annual Management Education Conference and Awards Platform.
“Rapidly changing business ecosystem should encourage us to think anew and institutions should act as change agents to groom entrepreneurial minds in social and environmentally adept values to become job creators of tomorrow.
Young managers should become the champions of Diversity and Inclusion and institutions should leverage technology and business models to make India self-reliant and sustainable,” Ram Nath Kovind said.
He congratulated IMC and IIM Kozhikode for hosting the event and encouraged students and thinkers of management to integrate their learning with history, sociology, literature and other aspects of Indian and global traditions.
Drawing lessons from the rich history of Kozhikode’s trade and commerce prowess he recalled the city’s major contribution towards globalizing Indian spice trade, Indian thoughts and rich literary traditions.
Prof. Debashis Chatterjee, welcomed the former president and the former first lady to IIM Kozhikode. He also presented IIM Kozhikode coffee table book “India At 2047” to the Chief Guest.
More than 30 national/international speakers from academia, industry, leading B-schools and corporate leaders brainstormed over IMC 2022 Theme.
“Measuring MBA Outcomes” over the course of the two-day conclave which had 150 member delegates attending the event.
The former President also presented the IMC awards for excellence in management education across various categories to winning institutes and individual awards to IMC distinguished alumni.
