KURUKSHETRA: Kurukshetra University (KU) vice-chancellor Prof Som Nath Sachdeva honoured 129 faculty members under KU-applause scheme on Saturday in the KU senate hall.
Seven teachers were bestowed gold medals of appreciation and 129 teachers were awarded certificates of honour for their academic, literary and other notable contributions towards raising the name of KU.
Under the KU-applause policy the KU faculty which has already been awarded and recognized for their academic and other notable achievements during 2017-2022 outside of KU were honoured by KU.
KU VC Prof Som Nath said that we are proud of our faculty members who have made significant contributions in making KU an A+ NAAC accredited university. This scheme will further motivate the teachers to work towards research and teaching.
