JEE Main 2023: January 31 first shift exam begins, analysis soon




NEW DELHI: National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the JEE Main examination for B.Tech/BE aspirants today i.e., Tuesday, January 31 for paper 1 in two shifts from 9 am to 12 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Candidates can download the Admit cards for JEE Main February 1, 2023 examination, which is now available for download on the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Candidates must bring a copy of the JEE Main admit card (colour printed on A4 paper) along with an original photo ID proof and copies of the passport-size photo uploaded with the form to the exam venue. They must follow the dress code prescribed on the admit card and other exam day guidelines mentioned on it. Candidates must reach the exam venue following the reporting time shown on admit cards.
JEE Main paper analysis, students’ reactions will be available at the end of each shift.
Candidates are advised to carry only the following with them into the examination venue:
1) Admit card along with Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA Website (a clear printout on A4 size paper) duly filled in.
2) A simple transparent Ball Point Pen.
3) Additional photograph, to be pasted on the attendance sheet.
4) Personal hand sanitiser (50 ml), if required.
5) Personal transparent water bottle.
6) Sugar tablets/fruits (like bananas/apples/oranges) in case the candidate is diabetic.
JEE Main Exam 2023: Banned Items
Candidates are not allowed to carry Instruments, Geometry or Pencil box, Handbag, Purse, any kind of Paper/ Stationery/ Textual material (printed or written material), Eatables and Water (loose or packed), Mobile Phone/ Earphone/ Microphone/ Pager, Calculator, DocuPen, Slide Rules, Log Tables, Camera, Tape Recorder, Electronic Watches with facilities of calculator, any metallic item or electronic gadgets/ devices in the Examination Hall/Room.
