Impact of social media on next generation: Amravati Vidyalaya students send out message

CHANDIGARH: Students of Amravati Vidyalaya on Sunday impressed the audiences through an action song presentation depicting the adverse impact of social media on the life of generation next.
The presentation was part of the Hope and Resolve, a theme based annual function of the school organized in the school premises , at Amravati Enclave of Panchkula.
Began Ganesh Vandana with the lightening of lamp by Panchkula deputy commissioner Mahavir Kaushik, who was accompanied by Panchkula Mayor and Vice President of the management and Hargobind Goyal and Jeewan Aggarwal, the programme had a message with each and every presentation by students during the three hours cultural evening anchored by Mahi Rar, Divyani and Vivek .
Teachers supported by jatin bawa, a choreographer and light and sound incharge prepared the show.
Meanwhile, school principal Manisha Dogra read out the annual report while highlighting the achievements of the school in academics, sports and extra curricular activities.
Main attraction of the event was Nishtha Sharma, a class X topper of the school, who was honored along with four other toppers of the school
Notably, Nishtha Sharma was among the school children who accompanied Prime Minister of India Narendera Modi to witness the landing of Chandrayan 2 , at ISRO station in Banglore. She was among the two students picked from Haryana.
Addressing those present on the occasion, Mahavir Kaushik complemented management, teachers and parents of the students who participated in the program. The program ended up with grand finale on tunes of folk music.
