IIM Raipur, NIEIT sign MoU for academic collaboration

RAIPUR: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIEIT), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, on Monday with the purpose of academic collaboration. Exchange of students and members of faculty between the two institutes as well as other academic activities, research and publication will be done as per the agreement given that both these institutes have their respective expertise, knowledge and resources.
In addition to these, active efforts will be made to develop joint training and research programmes that will be pursued in a collaborative spirit. The collaborative areas among others will pertain to faculty development programmes, enhancing skill of working professional, student internship, and joint consulting projects.
The MoU expresses a mutual desire by National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology and IIM Raipur to cooperate in building intellectual and research capacity and scholarship. Both the institutes wished for a long-term association.
Professor Ram Kumar Kakani, director, IIM Raipur and Dr Madan M Tripathi, director general, National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, signed the MoU in the presence of Professor Kamal K Jain, Dean Academics, and members of the new opportunity committee.
