RAIPUR: The two-day leadership summit of Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur witnessed rigorous discussion on a myriad of topics with leaders from various industries presenting their thoughts driven from years of experience in their respective fields, exposing the students of the institute to the pandora’s box of their expertise.
Raipur district collector Dr Sarveshwar Bhure graced the valedictory function of the two-day event held on November 5 and 6 as the guest of honour. He drew similarities between his journey and that of management leaders and emphasised on the importance of hard work and keenness for knowledge at every stage of one’s career and how to choose role models while carving your own path in life.
Professor Ram Kumar Kakani, Director, IIM Raipur and Professor Parikshit Charan, chairperson, corporate relations, IIM Raipur, also addressed the students.
The second day started with a panel discussion on “Emerging Engines of the Future Indian Economy”
The second panel of the day was on the topic “Strategy to drive Sustainability in an Era of Business Disruptions.” The third panel was on the topic “Decoding Integrated Logistics & Market Shifts for Driving Growth”.
The day came to an end with an inspirational and motivating address from Dr Bhure.
