During his welcome speech, Mr Harshit Singh, the Director of Lucknow Public Schools and Colleges, said, “This book covers a wide range of tasks done by my father, Dr SP Singh, manifesting his vision. I feel blessed to be the son of such a successful educationist. So, to nurture knowledge is in my DNA.”
Minister Mr. Jaiveer Singh said he would like to see India as a Vishava Guru — the world’s teacher in the coming 25 years. Feeling elated, Dr SP Singh also stated on the occasion that the nation comes first, and the mission of his life was to provide such quality education that its students and mentors become involved in nation-building. The teachers felt contented when the Founder and General Manager, Dr SP Singh, announced a hike of rupees one thousand per month in teachers’ salary, including the arrear from July 2022. In addition to this, gifts worth Rs. 50 lakh were given away to the teachers and other staff members.

Director Ms. Meena Tangri, Chief Inspector Mrs. Suchitra Chakravarty, all the principals — Mrs. Meena Tewari, Mrs. Neelam Singh, Mr. Gyanendra Kumar, Dr Rupali Patel, LPCPS Dean, Dr L.S. Awasthi, Ms. Kehkashan Arabi, Mrs. Anita Choudhary, Mr. Vijay Sachdeva, Mrs. Alka Mishra, Mr. K.K. Sharma, Mrs. Sunanda Mathur, Mrs. Bharti Gosain, Author Mr. Vijay Prakash Mishra, Chief Inspector-II Mr. Sanjay Pratap Singh, teachers and other guests were delighted at being the part of such a grand and scintillating teachers’ honouring ceremony along with the unveiling of the book, ‘SP Singh: A Man of Vision’.
Moreover, on LPS Founder’s Day, a 5 km cross-country running competition was organised by GOAL 4 ALL, a unit of Lucknow Public Charitable Trust and Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies. The race started from Kathautha Lake, covering a route via Purvanchal Apartments, CBCID Colony, Lake Side View Apartments, Sapna Sweets, and ended at LPS Gate No 3. Under Lucknow Public Charitable Trust’s special campaign GOAL4ALL, this running competition was organised to encourage people to remain sensitive towards social concerns and humanity and to spread awareness for the same.
The race was flagged off by the ADM (Administration), Lucknow, Mr Bipin Kumar Mishra, in the presence of former MLC Mrs Kanti Singh (Administrative head of Lucknow Public Schools & Colleges) and Mrs Neha Singh, Director of Lucknow Public Schools & Colleges, Ms Garima Singh, Director of Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies and the trustees, Mr Harshit Singh and Mr Shikhar Pal Singh and Dr L S Awasthi, the Dean of Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies. In this race, 522 runners participated with enthusiasm.
The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions were bagged by Shrawan Kumar of Sports College, Shahrukh Khan of Sports College, and Balram of Uttar Pradesh Police (UPP). Cheques of ₹15,000/-, ₹10,000/-, and ₹ 5,000 and trophies were given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd position winners. Winners from 4th to 10th positions were given a cheque of ₹1,500/- each and certificates. Each participant was awarded an e-certificate of participation.
Additionally, a donation drive was organised by GOAL4ALL in the presence of Mr Ashish Singh Patel, Hon’ble Minister for Technical Education, the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Mr Ram Dayal Maurya, Founder and Secretary of Jai Jagat Welfare and Educational Foundation; Mrs Om Kumari Singh, Founder and Chief Secretary of Chaitanya Welfare Foundation, Ms Shruti Pandey, President of Shri Ram Audhyogik Anathalaya and Mrs Suman Singh Rawat, Founder and President of Power Wings Foundation were honoured with a certificate of appreciation, shawl, and memento by Mr Ashish Singh Patel, Hon’ble Minister for Technical Education, Government of UP on behalf of GOAL 4 All, a unit of Lucknow Public Charitable Trust.
Eatable items and other collections like books, stationery, and clothes collected by the Trust were presented to the above-mentioned organisations to help and support the needy. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Harshit Singh expressed his feelings, “Every life is a message, and so is mine.”
Work will be done in many areas of social service through Lucknow Public Charitable Trust’s special campaign GOAL 4 ALL. G stands for Greenery, O stands for Orphanage as cooperation to orphanages, A stands for Aged people as service to senior citizens and elderly people in various ways, L is for Lending, to provide daily use items and help to the needy according to their needs. In this way, many reputed NGOs have become part of the campaign to spread awareness in society. It drives home the message that the feeling of being human is in all of us and will only be meaningful when we work for each other.
