CBSE to conduct CTET December-January exams from Dec 28 to Feb 7; admit card two days before exam



CTET 2022 Exam dates: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday released the full schedule for the upcoming Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in Computer Based Mode (Online) examination 2022-23 on the official website.
The Board will conduct the CTET examination on 24 dates starting from December 28, 2022, to February 7, 2023, in different cities throughout the country.
The candidates, who have applied for the CTET December 2022 examination, can check their dates of examination and examination city allotted to them through candidate log-in on the official CTET website – https://ctet.nic.in/. The details regarding the date of examination and city of examination allotted to all the applicants have been displayed on the website of CTET.
It may be noted that the complete details of the examination centre and shift/time of examination will be mentioned in the admit card of each applicant which will be available to download from the CTET official website only two days before the date of examination.
Also, candidates should note that the allotment of the examination centre and date of examination is done on a random basis therefore the Board will not entertain any request for a change of examination city, examination centre and date of examination.

Applicants are advised to visit regularly CTET official website i.e. https://ctet.nic.in only for authenticated information related to CTET.

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a national-level exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in India. It is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for appointment as teachers in schools affiliated with the CBSE. CTET is conducted twice a year, in the months of December and July.
To appear for the CTET exam, candidates must have completed their higher secondary education (12th grade) or an equivalent qualification. Candidates who pass the CTET exam are eligible for appointment as teachers in schools from Classes 1 to 8.
The CTET exam consists of two papers: Paper 1 is for candidates who wish to teach Classes 1 to 5, and Paper 2 is for candidates who wish to teach Classes 6 to 8. Each paper is divided into five sections: Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I (compulsory for both papers), Language II (compulsory for both papers), Mathematics and Science (for Paper 1), and Social Studies/Social Science (for Paper 2).
Both papers consist of multiple-choice questions on the following subjects:
Paper 1:
* Child Development and Pedagogy
* Language I (Hindi or English)
* Language II (Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Punjabi, Assamese, Manipuri, Kannada, Oriya, Malayalam)
* Mathematics
* Environmental Studies
Paper 2:
* Child Development and Pedagogy
* Language I (Hindi or English)
* Language II (Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Punjabi, Assamese, Manipuri, Kannada, Oriya, Malayalam)
* Mathematics and Science (for Mathematics and Science teachers)
* Social Studies/Social Science (for Social Studies/Social Science teachers)
The CTET exam is conducted in offline mode, with multiple choice questions (MCQs). The exam is conducted in various languages, including English, Hindi, and other regional languages. The CTET exam is considered to be a tough exam, and candidates are advised to prepare well in advance. Candidates have to score a minimum of 60% marks in order to qualify for the CTET examination.
