Around 15000 students attend maiden ‘virtual education conclave’ in Rajouri



JAMMU: To help teachers in meeting with new challenges and developing students abilities and performance, District Rajouri Administration organized maiden virtual Education Conclave on Thursday in which around 15000 students from as many as 143 schools participated.
The first of its kind – the conclave was organised by the District Administration Rajouri in collaboration with the School Education Department in the district.
Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal who was the Chief Guest in his thought provoking lecture encouraged the students to dream high and then try hard to make dreams come true.
“There is no substitute for hard work when it comes to achieving your cherished dreams,” said DC Rajouri.
He encouraged students to focus on their studies during their academic years, further adding that a keen awareness and update of current affairs and reasoning is also very important to succeed in most of the exams.
“Smart Class Rooms are- a revolutionary educational platform using computers to make learning effective for students with different abilities.”
He exhorted the students to take advantage of the ICT labs/Smart classroom to add new dimensions to the teaching- learning process. He also advised the teachers to inculcate reading habits among the students.
As many as 18 guest speakers spoke at the event through virtual mode and shared the experiences of their lives and motivated the students to understand their potential and focus on the aims of their lives to achieve them.
