67 students from Gujarat to participate in ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’




AHMEDABAD: After an online creative writing competition held for Class 9-12 students, parents and teachers to qualify for the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha‘ event, 67 students, eight parents and nine teachers from the state have been selected. A total of 1,200 students have been selected from across the country for this event. The event in which students will talk to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on topics related to the examination will be held on January 27 at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi.
As per a statement from the state education department, the event will be broadcasted on Doordarshan and there will be a live webcast, and radio broadcast also. Schools have been asked to join in the webcasting. The district education officers have instructed schools to set up television, radio or computers so that students can watch this event.
Sources said that a national creative writing competition was held to select students, parents and teachers. The last date for filing online entries was December 30. Sources said that a total of 2,050 students, parents and teachers have been selected from across the country.
