The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC) on Wednesday said that 15,416 of the total 19,408 students registered so far for admissions in undergraduate medical, dental, ayurvedic and homeopathy courses have verified their applications and documents as on Wednesday.
The students who have registered themselves have to verify their registration forms and documents during October 4 to October 15.
As per the intake schedule announced by the National Medical Commission (NMC), the first round of admission for the all India quota seats for medical and dental courses will be conducted during October 11-20. The deemed universities and central institutes will conduct admissions for all India quota seats starting from October 10 which will end on October 20 and October 17-28 for the state quota seats. The second round of admissions in all India quota will be conducted from November 2 to November 10 and November 7 to 18 for the state quota seats.
There are around 12,000 seats for MBBS and other undergraduate medical courses in the state which includes 500 seats added recently in the newly set up five medical colleges in the state.
